Ireland, Edward IV of England, 1461-1483, AR Penny (15mm), aF/F+. Seaby
6362, (light cross and pellets coinage, 1473-1478?), Dublin mint. Obv.
Crowned bust facing, saltires by neck. Rev. CIVITAS DVBLIN, long cross with
three pellets in each angle. The coin is gray, darker in some areas. Nearly
all of the obverse legend is gone. On the reverse DVBL is visible, although
parts of these letters are off the flan. The portrait is mostly clear, with
one saltire visible, and the reverse image is fairly well struck, with
clipped flans, as usual for these coins.
