            Lot 2143Great Britain. Half Laurel, ND. S.2640; Fr-243. James I. 
            Third coinage (1619-25). First bust. Mintmark, Spur rowel. Laureate 
            armored bust left, value behind. Reverse: Long cross over square 
            shield. A crisp portrait that would be almost impossible to find a 
            more attractive example of this rare type of Half Laurel. The early 
            half laurels were badly struck coins but this is a MS 61 example. 
            NGC graded MS-61. 
            Estimated Value $3,000-3,500.
