An exceptionally fine example, with lovely lightly iridescent gray surfaces, virtually no marks, deeply detailed portrait as found mainly on this issue, Tudor rose behind the queen, star above her head and at start of reverse legend. Error "I" for "T" in her name. Distinctive mid-16th-century lettering style. The Brits will call this "Good EF," and in fact it's nearly as good as it gets! Very rare grade. NGC graded MS-63.
