                              ROSA SINE SPIN, crowned facing bust / CIVITAS 
                              CANTOR (over LONDON), coat-of-arms surmounted by 
                              cross fourchée. North 1887; SCBC 2417. Good VF. 
                              ($400)

                              A remarkable dual mintmark penny. Apparently a 
                              London signed reverse die was sent to Canterbury, 
                              where the mintmark was re-worked to the proper 
                              reading.
