              Description: We are very pleased to offer this genuine 700+ year old silver Penny of King Henry III of
              England. This coin was minted in Canterbury by the moneyer Nicole between 1247-1272 and survives in
              excellent condition with much of the art and legends fully visible. This example is well struck and
              still maintains a beautiful toned luster on both sides which adds considerably to its desirability and
              value.

Obverse: Crowned facing head of Henry III, holding sceptre, wedge-tailed R's, round eyes.... HENRICVS REX III
Reverse: Long cross with 3 pellets in each angle... NICOLE ON CANT
