Constantine the Great was the son of Constantius I Chlorus, and served as Caesar306-307 AD, as Filius Augustorum 308-309 AD, and finally as full Augustus until 330 BC. Commomorative issues were made from 330 to 346 AD as well. He eliminated the Tetrarchy by defeating all the other rulers, and ushered in the era of Christianity.
