Lot No.3513. Roman silver plated bronze or billon brooch of two gladiators in combat; the one on the left is holding a sheild and gladius (short sword) and is about to vanquish his opponent who is falling down. 37mm. The original iron pin has rusted away. 1st to 3rd century AD.
